Social Value cards give children a head start in learning about core values and actions that illustrate them.
Yellow cards represent values that each participant must learn and be held accountable for. Learning and internalising values is a process. These cards correlate to blue cards because they are personal skills that no one can do for you. They create many opportunities for family discussions and self reflection.
Cornerstone Values The following eight cornerstone values are principles that are consistent, universal, and trans-cultural. They build character that produces behaviour that is beneficial for the individual, others and the community. These eight cornerstone values are drawn from the research of C. S. Lewis.
• Honesty and Truthfulness • Kindness • Consideration and Concern for others • Compassion • Obedience • Responsibility • Respect • Duty
